5th Sino-French Workshop on Solid-state NMR Spectroscopy

Solid-state NMR spectroscopy has been rapidly developed with emerging new methods and techniques, which are widely applied in materials and biological sciences. To promote the development of solid-state NMR research in China, the State Key Laboratory of Applied Organic Chemistry (SKLAOC) at Lanzhou University will collaborate with the State Key Laboratory of Magnetic Resonance and Atomic and Molecular Physics, National Center for Magnetic Resonance in Wuhan, University of Lille (Lille, France) and College of Food Science and Engineering in Gansu Agricultural University to organize the "5th Sino-French Workshop on Solid-state NMR Spectroscopy" in Lanzhou. Well-known experts in the solid-state NMR field will be invited to deliver lectures on the basic principles, advanced experimental methods and latest applications of solid-state NMR. It is expected that this workshop can strengthen the communication and boost the collaboration in the research field of solid-state NMR in China.
Workshop Content: Basic principles of solid-state NMR, advanced experimental methods (high-resolution NMR of spin 1/2 nuclei, hetero-nuclear decoupling, homo- and hetero-nuclear recoupling, half-integer quadrupolar nuclei etc.) as well as latest applications of solid-state NMR in catalysis, materials, and biomacromolecules, etc.
Participants: Teachers, researchers and postgraduate students of universities or research institutes with some relevant backgrounds are welcome. The total number of participants will be limited to 50.

Registration Fees and Deadline:
Ø Registration fees: 1200 RMB for Chinese participants (including conference materials and meals) and 800 RMB for postgraduate student (requiring student ID). The registration fees will be remitted for invited speakers. Fees for accommodation and transportation will be borne by the participants themselves.
