·Research Topics

We are devoted to the development of sustainability in Chemical Process towards the accomplishment of “Green Chemistry”. Our research has breached the critical gap for the conversion of green fuel towards green food/material. More sustainable oxidation/reduction processes were also developed for the inter-conversion of oxygenated compounds. The applications of photo-sensitizing semiconductors were also explored as heterogeneous catalysts, which contributes to the solution of heavy metal residue problem in pharmaceutical compounds and other critical problems for sustainable development. The research was commented by Science as “a research that could change the world” (doi:10.1126/science.aax0725). We have been keeping a strong passion in the inter-disciplinary research of organic/inorganic chemistry and semiconductor/AI. We welcome students and postdoctoral fellows who share this research passion of ours any time.
