报告人简介

Dr. Yoshio ANDO studied chemistry from 1998 to 2007 at Department of Applied Chemistry of Tokyo Institute of Technology, JAPAN. He received his Bachelor of Science degree, Master’s degree and PhD’s degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2002, 2004 and 2007, respectively. After obtaining his doctorate degree, he made one-year postdoc stay with Prof. Dale L. Boger at The Scripps Research Institute, USA. Since September of 2008, Dr. ANDO joined the group of Professor Keisuke SUZUKI at Tokyo Institute of Technology, and started his academic career as an Assistant Professor. 

His research interest is mainly focused on synthetic organic chemistry, especially on the natural product synthesis. Dr. ANDO is also the awardee of 2013 Mitsui Chemicals Award in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan and 2015 Asian Core Program/Advanced Research Network Lectureship Award.
