报告人简介

Hidetoshi Tokuyama（德山英利）obtained his B.Sc. (1990), M.Sc. (1992) and Ph.D. (1994) degrees from Tokyo Institute of Technology under the supervision of Professor Eiichi Nakamura. During 1994 and 1995, he pursued his postdoctoral research with Amos B, Smith, III at University of Pennsylvania in the US. He has been an Assistant Professor (1995-2001), Lecture (2001-2003), and Associate Professor (2003-2006) at University of Tokyo. In 2006, he was recruited by Tohoku University as a Full Professor.

His research interests are devoted to total synthesis of structurally complex natural products and the development of novel synthetic methodologies. Professor Tokuyama is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including PSJ (The Pharmaceutical Society Japan) Award for Young Scientists (2003), Young Scientist′s Prize of the Commendation for Science and Technology by MEXT, Japan (2007), PSJ Award for Divisional Scientific Promotion (2014), Daiichi–Sankyo Award for Medicinal Organic Chemistry by the Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan (2015), Alan R. Katritzky Junior Award in Heterocyclic Chemistry by the International Society of Heterocyclic Chemistry (2015), and Asian Core Program Lectureship Awards (2006 Taiwan, 2009 China & Thailand, and 2017 China).
